The Crises run during The General Assembly on
Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. They are made up of regional
groups of 20 delegates or less.
The Crises run separately from the conference entirely. Delegates
act as heads of state and are allowed to make actual policy decisions for
their government. This includes establishing allies, declaring war,
providing aid, moving troops, ending aid, and other diplomatic actions.
Delegates are provided with information about a series of events that
provides a threat to international security. As they make decisions,
whether through unilateral or multilateral methods, developments occur
within the simulation. Delegates actions will have a direct effect on the
path of the simulation.
Country assignments for Crises simulations will be announced during
MAMUN.
